iMaurice Posted May 21, 2006 Share Posted May 21, 2006 i was noticing how apple seems to be dumping the emac, and not changing it to x86 the emac is used a lot in education, which apple cares about, and apple is gonna have to have a replacement if they are not made anymore i think we'll either see a new mac or a non-BYODKM mac mini what do you all think? fOZf8 Posted June 1, 2006 Share Posted June 1, 2006 We had Apple IIe's when I was a Junior in HS...unfortunate for them, the interface was all to easy to hack in order to reach the administrative database. They were never able to completely prove that it was me who locked half the teachers out of their accounts and changed oodles of grades, but simply based on word of mouth they were still able to slap me up with 30 hours of detention....and when I din't serve any they rolled it over into in house suspensions, which I often would skip out of early which would in turn double my hours to serve for that day. When I left that school before my Senior year I had over 140 hours of detention unserved! They tried to transfer it to my new school even, but fortunate for myself the new school wouldn't allow it!
