Today.I introducing The fastest Mac ever been create before.

Powered on Intel Core i7 Processor

I just paid for 1700$ for this Hackie

This hackie i 'm very proud on it has huge performance.

All right let's take a look at specification.

CPU:Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz clocked at 3.8GHz (Bus 200 multiplier 19)

Ram:Geil DDR3 Triple channel memory 1600MHz

M/B:Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5

VGA:BFG 8800GTX Mod to QuadroFx5600 Thanks to AquaMac for information and Roms

CPU Cooler:Sumbeam tech Core Contact Freezer with 1366 transition base socket

Powered with 750W iCute PowerSupply

HDD:500GB seagate SATA

OPD:Sony 22x SATA

Let's rool up look at Case and component

And this is Xbench Score Test Compared to Nehalem Based Mac Pro That's on Database Today.

So this is Faster Computation and all about CPU Processing as you see in picture.

These are Cinebench Test also this is a few lost in battle in rendering time

just in case it lose 8 cores 2.66GHz nehalem Based Mac Pro about 5-6 Seconds not so bad in cost

This Frequency that i clocked at 3.88GHz is Stable and can run MPrime for many day in 100 percantage stress test with no problem.it's very cool and nice at cost of 1700$

for more information for benchmark Geekbench Geekbench

Xbench Normal score 260+

Xbench

Thanks to Insanelymac for community

Thanks to iAtkos team for 5i version that i use to install on this hackie

Thanks to iPC team for a lot of driver in 10.5.6 install DVD(but i use only driver)

Thanks to god who make this pretty world.

pretty awesome Machine for basically half the cost and two times more powerful than a MacPro B)

Two times more powerful than a MacPro? Did I get something wrong here or didn't you see the Geekbench results of the new Nehalem Mac Pro?

Here's a link: http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/115605

How does it compare to a mac pro when it's stock though?

I'm not sure it matters, if he's always going to be running it overclocked.

That's a bit like asking "So what was the quarter time with the stock 1.8 liter engine in it?" after your bud just did a 6.4 at the dragstrip in his blown nitro-fuelled V8 powered Honda Civic. ;)

I'd say a more relevant question would be "So how does a Nehalem-powered overclocked MacPro go with its CPUs at 3.8GHz?".

But...

That's a pretty good Hackintosh by any standards and it makes me go "hmmmm..." and think thoughts of AfterEffects on steroids.

Ah, but a man can dream. ;)

Er, did you see the bus speed in your link? 6.40 GHz? Something not quite right there I think...

And the Pro's 16 cores vs 8 cores?

;)

umm There pretty much CPU in i7 model that is i7 940 run on 2.93 and qpi 6.4

but i'm 3.8 qpi 7.2 hahaha

so this clock that i was clocked to very stable not a top frequency that can't doing jobs well.or a littlebit of temperature from LN2.

That's different. In this case, you're getting better performance by changing the frequency of something. In the civic case, you're getting better performance because of upgrades.

In benchmarking, the most fair way to compare machines is clock for clock. Now, either way it performs, even if it didn't perform as well as the mac pro does when both are stock, you're still getting hell of a deal for only about half the price of a mac pro.

OK. Then the Civic has the stock 1.8 but it's had a cam, piston, head, exhaust and chip makeover and now pulls 9000rpm instead of the stock 7000rpm. And it goes like a cut cat. That's about changing the frequency of something - the engine's frequency. Fairer comparison?

The point, however, is the same. If he's head to head with some stock V8 powered beast and the Civic eats its lunch, it's irrelevant what its stock frequency once was. In that competition, what matters is that it outperforms the V8 and at half the price.

Benchmarking is only really valid for measuring single issues. To test the performance of a specific hard drive, for example, so all other factors must necessarily be the same from test to test - same MB, CPU, bus speed, RAM size, frequency and type, and so on. This was clearly not the case here so it was hardly a proper benchmark, I agree. But benchmark or not, it clearly demonstrates a worthy competitor to the MacPro.

His Hackintosh turned in a very respectable performance. Doesn't mean a MacPro can't be configured to beat it using a careful choice of available components though. But it hints very strongly that those of us who need a grunty multicore machine for Final Cut or AfterEffects or other CPU intensive software can put together such a machine for a relatively modest sum compared to a similarly performing MacPro. So I agree totally with your last sentence. :)

That can't be a bad thing, and I congratulate the OP for putting his money up to find out what's possible.

At this time I'm testing Prime95 (MPrime) in toture--> Blend test for a Ram testing for 12 hours no error.i'll test until i enjoy the time it be.

So on Geekbench.i'm not the fastest i know that, but on XBench maybe should go on RAID0 to get a remains Power.

i'm downlaing snow leopard right now for 96% may be i use vanilla kernel from it.

Geekbench is one of score that Mac Pro is win,but if you compare to Cinebench difference on ~1000 score! and the power of QuadroFX5600 (mod from 8800GTX) give me more power in OpenGL test

in Xbench i found that this hackie was a top score machine (don't compared to any RAID0 operating)

that's the bit i don't like. i dont have a good mobo for a hackintosh,

but on my 7 RC build, the gtx 295 sli, and 12gb ram with 4x 750gb in raid 0. only bad thing is the processor, i7 950, compared to the other expensive stuff i got i should have gotten the othero ne.

but dude, that's a VERY nice build Props to you catching up to the new MacPro 4,1.
