Redliner
Being a Windows user of many, many years I have long trusted "PCTools Free edition" (over 5 years!) and it has thwarted and removed many, many threats... and have recieved many rewards as well as being one of the most downloaded programs on CNet's Download.com http://www.pctools.com/ They have released back in June a Free Antivirus for Mac currently on the site they claim a threat database of 83 threats. http://www.iantivirus.com/threats/ I have always loved PCtools' simple and intuitive interface...they have caried that over in classic Mac tradition quite well in my opinion. http://www.iantivirus.com/screenshots/ and best of all it is free, you can pay $30 for a commercial license or as a one time support fee, but it's not required and the application doesn't suffer if you stick with the free version let me know what you all think! http://www.iantivirus.com/download/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120041-free-reputable-mac-antivirus/ Share on other sites

CLiDE FTW!!1
LMFAO Yes, as long as you scan some of your incoming files, you should be fine. It would be naiive to think that you're 100% safe in OS X... InorganicMatter
LMFAO Yes, as long as you scan some of your incoming files, you should be fine. It would be naiive to think that you're 100% safe in OS X... Or worse, be passing along viruses to Windows users. Myself, I run virus scanning for my whole network in my Linux router.
