Trauma! Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 If you have updated to 10.5.3 you certainly have overwrited the AppleAHCIport.kext !! Simply restore the one from 10.5.2, that's all. But in the mean time that's will certainly change nothing. peach-os Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 I tried that and made my computer broken ??? in this case you edited the wrong lines. you shouldn´t touch device id´s,except you know exactly what you´re doing. you should only change the "generic......" into " ich X". never had any issues doing that.
