All the apps are OK, you just have to known what is going on. cmdshft Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 ZiPhone is perfectly fine for iPod touch's, the only gripe people has is because it downgrades to the 3.9 bootloader on iPhones. Frankly, if you've a Mac, use Pwnage Tool 1.1. I'm still waiting for WinPwn to come out of megabeta... Well, you will get a better battery life with BL4.6, at least that happened when I upgraded to 3.9BL. There is nothing wrong, but you are changing the original BL. If you know what you're doing, use pwnage Tool. Is that still true? Otherwise I was considering getting an iPhone and not bothering with the contract. I got 2 iPhones bricked, basically they are dead, not even as an iPod, as there is no Wi-Fi nor sound... Right now I'm making my own patched version of gbootloader to be able to flash it and bring them to live again, since they do not accept secpacks, so there is no way to flash the baseband... @Bench: Yup.
