Macfox 0.1.1 Beta has been released.

This new version uses a theme based on iFox, which in turn is tri-licensed (MPL/LGPL/GPL). (The previous version used a modified GrApple Uno, which I didn't have permission to redistribute, which ended up forcing me to pull all the links. Proof of the iFox license can be seen in browser.css):

IMPORTANT.

Do NOT advertise this. Do NOT link this anywhere. I got too many downloads for the previous version, and that server is still not working. Since this is my ISP's hosting, if I get this thing too hammered, I'll probably go internet-less! Thank you.

Macfox 0.2 has been released. Macfox 0.2 includes the following new features:

  • The aqua controls were a bit refined, now they act more like Safari's.
  • Added (incomplete) support for <input type="search">.
  • The Firefox codebase was updated to the latest code in the 1.8.1.x branch.
  • Macs with a G3 processor are now supported.

Download link: here.

Example of <input type="search">:

Again, if you want to share the link, go ahead. Digg it even, if you want to. I'm not the one wasting bandwidth
