Hello everyone,
I'm trying to install OS Sierra on HP Z400. I've already installed Mavericks and Yosemite on same machine with same settings.

My System specs are;

HP Z400 Workstation
CPU: W3565 3.2Ghz
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333MHz
HDD: WD300GB Rapter 10K RPM
GFX: GeForce GT630 2GB DDR3

I'm using vanilla install process of creating USB install media and using chameleon with following plist:

org.chameleon.Boot.plist

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>DSDT</key>
<string>/Extra/DSDT.aml</string>
<key>DropSSDT</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>EnableHDMIAudio</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080x32</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>-v nvda_drv=1</string>
<key>PrivateData</key>
<string>No</string>
<key>SMBIOS</key>
<string>/Extra/SMBios.plist</string>
<key>SkipAtiGfx</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>SkipIntelGfx</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>SystemType</key>
<string>3</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>2</string>
<key>USBBusFix</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>UseKernelCache</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

I'm getting this error (see attachment) each time I try to boot form usb. Can anyone help me on this, what this error about and how to fix it?

I really appreciate your help.

HI Allan, Thanks for reply.

Yes I tried that guide with clover and I have added some more kext into my enoch installer as well, now both USBs are showing same error which you can see in attachment.
Boot stuck at there and it doesn't proceed further. Any ideas, whats wrong?

Here is the list of kexts I'm using:

- AHCIPortInjector
- AppleHDADisabler

- FakeSMC

- GenericUSBXHCI     (I think this is not needed my USB already working)

- IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector

- kXAudioDriver

- LegacyAppleAHCIPortIntelICHx      (I think this one was missing earlier, because hdd list showing in the screenshot was not there in previous attempts)

- NullCPUPowerManagement

- VoodooHDA
- VoodooTSCSync        (Do I really need this? isn't for AMD processors?)

Please let me know is there solution?
And thanks again for help.

  • 2 years later...

I think I was a little late! but I have a Z400 several years and have been satisfied.
What I can say in this post in case it can serve someone is,
1. video card: The Sierra or high Sierra works perfectly with the nVidia GeForce GTX650Ti. it does not turn off it just restarts but this does not prevent it from being a perfect hackintosh.
This year apple has done something that does not allow the Sierra installation to be possible. so to install Sierra you will have to disconnect the pc from the internet and change the time and date to 2015. that is only to be able to complete the installation. After that the time will be updated upon detecting the internet. Unless this is what worked for me. just in case and someone can serve you.
