GeForce 9800 gx2 Sierra/High Sierra

Hi, not so much ago i got a geforce 9800 gx2 and i was wondering how do i get it to work on sierra/high sierra? i have tryied a lot of things but nothing worked, i always got a black screen, the only way to get it to boot is by using -nv_disable=1 which will boot the system of course without video acceleration but with one of the 2 gpus detected and the other not. since i am going to use this card for my 2008 dream hackintosh build, with sierra, how do i make it to work? Thanks for your answers
2. Hello, happy new year and I hope you're doing well! I upgraded to High Sierra despite my intentions not to, and I've encountered some general lag and slow speed with my CPU. Often, Logic Pro X will present a "System Overload" popup that I had only ever seen before when returning from sleep. Now it will frequently occur in between songs. I have an MSI Gaming 7 and a i5-4690K. Any help will be appreciated. I'm sure many of you are having issues similar if I am. Thank you for your time.
3. Hi guys, I've tried adding the ram slots in Clover and I get 48GB but using 40% of the ram without doing anything in my computer. It reports as "wired" mostly. If I remove them from config.plist and add trust it detects 32GB and no ram usage after restarting. Any help would be appreciated. Update: Bios update to the latest version solved my problem.
4. I'm running into a few issues when trying to get Windows 7 up and running on my Hackintosh. First my hardware: Gigabyte Z-87N-WIFI Intel 45670K Asus GTX 760 Corsair 1600 2x4GB Corsair 430w CMX PSU M4 Crucial 128GB SSD - OS X install drive\ WD 1TB HDD - 700GB HFS+ partition, 300GB NTFS Windows install partition Fractal Node 304 Case OS X Version: 10.9.2 Here's how the install went: Initial install of OS X fine, very stable and running for six months ish. I recently replaced the bootloader from Chimera to Clover in order to use the mouse to select an OS, in prep for the Windows install. Clover is up and running, and equally seems fine. I disconnected my SSD (OS X boot drive), and went ahead and installed Windows 7 onto the 300GB partition. This was originally formatted in FAT32, but I re-formatted it in NTFS before the install took place. All went well, I installed drivers etc, rebooted several times, then re-connected the SSD. This is where I ran into problems. Clover can see the Windows install, and it shows up on the boot screen, but when I select it it hangs at a blinking cursor. A quick google shows a fix for this, and suggests it's a problem with the master boot record. The solution i've seen mentioned is to re-boot via the Windows Installation DVD, go to command prompt and enter the following: 1- c:/Bootrec.exe /FixMbr 2- c:/Bootrec.exe /FixBoot 3- c:/Bootrec.exe /RebuildBcd My worry here is that I will damage my OS X install/Clover in some unforeseen way, as i'm not sure of how the boot sectors interact with each other. Any thoughts here? Am I barking up the wrong tree entirely? Will the above solution work? All comments appreciated!
5. hey guys my dell inspiron 13 laptop (with windows 8) wont boot to the installer, i tried everything first i tried using ##### the it was stuck at the apple logo and woudnt show a little progress bar and the usb isnt flashing then it didnt even show like the boot options it just boots directly to os x as i have remembered then i tried clover which shows nothing at all even when i used verbose, single user and graphicsenabler=no and i was using mac os x 10.10.3 which has some support for broadwell so hope you guys reply soon laptop specs: Intel Core i7 5500u (broadwell) intel HD Graphics 5500 8GB DDR3 RAM 1TB 7200 rpm hard drive 1920x1080 display (with foldback hinge) i checked the specs they seem to be compatible with the latest mac os x release

DSDT help

Hey guys, I recently got Mavericks 10.9.5 up and running again, but I'm having issues with my system. I have no USB 2 (USB3 works, oddly), no audio, and wacky GPU issues (only 1 or 2 of my monitors will work out of 3). I have no idea what to do now, I'm out of my depth. Can someone please take a look at my extracted DSDT and my IOReg please, and help me get it edited? Here are my specs: Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Extreme (X79, LGA2011 socket) GPUs: 2x EVGA GTX 780s RAM: 64GB G.Skill Ripjaws @1333MHz CPU: Intel Core i7 4960x (Ivy Bridge E) Any details needed? PM me. I am also using a MacPro6,1 SMBIOS, just for the record. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. The forum won't allow me to upload my IOReg and DSDT so they are posted at the links below: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bi3f2lj8tnwsed5/Logan%E2%80%99s%20Mac%20Pro.ioreg?dl=0 (IOReg) https://www.dropbox.com/s/i5j0y755jbjr4th/System%20DSDT.aml?dl=0 (extracted DSDT that needs editing)
7. Hi guys! Im posting this because there's something really wrong with sleep in el capitan... I had a very nice install of Mavericks, with everything working, including sleep.. I have made a new fresh install of EL Capitan, and while performance is pretty much better, i have a big issue. Every time i put the laptop to sleep the screen just goes black, and the lights remain on. There's no instant wake problem, but the onlyway to get out of the black screen state is forcing the shutdown. I've been reading RehabMan's post about 10.11 USB changes and solutions, but i am a bit lost. I have no problem with doing DSDT patching or whatever would be necessary to solve this issue, it's just that there are many alternatives to solve it and I don't wanna mess up the install. Could anyone kindly guide me to what would be the best procedure to follow? My DSDT has been freshly patched, and i followed Rehabmans advice to not use multiplex patch, nor GenericUSBXHCI kext. Anyone would help? Thanks in advance PS: The only USB patch i used for the DSDT was the USB7/8 series patch

Can anyone help me fix my DSDT?

I got 10.9.5 to work on my laptop. I thought everything was working, but it turns out HDMI sound, Headphones and the SD card isn't working. Also I get weird graphics issues like this... The graphics issue only shows up with anything that may use quicktime. XBMC and Safari both run through quicktime so I get this issue with those. If I use Google Chrome it works perfectly. It also does show my card. I downloaded NVIDIA's drivers for 10.9.5 in order for it to detect my card Is any of this fixable with DSDT? Could anyone help me? I am booting with Clover as well so I have no idea how to use clover to load the dsdt. My specs Alienware 17 i7 4700qm Nvidia 780m GTX 16 GB Ram BCM43xx Wifi + Bluetooth Killer e2200 Network Card https://www.dropbox.com/s/52x2fw0coy7vahh/dsdt.aml?dl=0 Might help to post the DSDT sorry see aove
10. Hello everyone, I'm trying to install OS Sierra on HP Z400. I've already installed Mavericks and Yosemite on same machine with same settings. My System specs are; HP Z400 Workstation CPU: W3565 3.2Ghz RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333MHz HDD: WD300GB Rapter 10K RPM GFX: GeForce GT630 2GB DDR3 I'm using vanilla install process of creating USB install media and using chameleon with following plist: org.chameleon.Boot.plist <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>DSDT</key> <string>/Extra/DSDT.aml</string> <key>DropSSDT</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>EnableHDMIAudio</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1920x1080x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-v nvda_drv=1</string> <key>PrivateData</key> <string>No</string> <key>SMBIOS</key> <string>/Extra/SMBios.plist</string> <key>SkipAtiGfx</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>SkipIntelGfx</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>SystemType</key> <string>3</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> <key>USBBusFix</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>Yes</string> </dict> </plist> I'm getting this error (see attachment) each time I try to boot form usb. 11. Hi all, So I am trying to get a hackintosh running for a friend of mine and I am running into some issues. Here is my hardware setup Gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI LGA 1150 Intel Core i5-4430 Quad Core Haswell @ 3.0 Ghz 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz PC3-12800 240GB SSD I used the CustoMac Mini Deluxe build, the only thing I left out of the list was the video card, which was listed as optional So, I originally tried to follow tonymac's tutorial which did not get me very far. During bootup after finishing the OS install, I would get a whole screen full of distorted lines and the process would not go any further. So I decided to try another tutorial to try and get mavericks installed. The second time around, I used this tutorial for installing a vanilla OS X 10.9 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280756-guide-the-all-in-one-guide-to-vanilla-os-x-including-chameleon-dsdt-for-beginners-updated-for-mavericks/ This tutorial seemed to be much better, but after I do the initial install of OSX onto my SSD (btw, the only way I could get the installer to load was via the –x -f –v flag during boot) I am getting a kernel panic. I have quite a bit of experience with UNIX/Linux so I am not at all afraid of the command line, but I have to admit some of the messages that get spit out in verbose boot make it sound like your computer is just about to commit suicide in some graphic and dramatic way. Here is a screenshot of the kernel panic that I am running into (btw, this is also when I use the –x –v –f boot flags – for some reason it worked without issue the first time, but at the point of the tutorial where I am supposed to boot back into the installer and run a few things in terminal, I am not able to get back into the installer to load up the terminal application). I should mention that when I view the boot process with the –v (verbose) flag, I do see some error messages that say something about the CPU not being compatible with the system, even though this processor is listed on the site that specs out hackintosh builds. Occasionally the boot process seems to get hung up on something related to Bluetooth as well, but I do not have a picture of the output readily available. I can upload a pic when I get home from work tho (that is, if I can get it to fail in the same way).. Any idea what is going on?
12. Hi I installed 10.10 on my x220, most things work greatly but the track point (which is very important to many users I believe) has some issues. Dragging and sometimes a quick single clicking often fail with VoodooPS2controller. see here: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller/issues/3 and here: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller/issues/29 I have: - tried old versions - tried change some properties including DragExitDelay, Movement threshold, ImmediateClick etc. But didn't work. I've also: - tried old ApplePS2Controller.kext and AppleACPInub.kext that solved the issue, but also we'll lost many new features of the voodoops2controller.kext (gesture, middle button functions etc) Any same situation / solutions?
13. i have an issue with the networking on the board. i have installed the respective kext i found and all i get is the networking prefferences saying self assigned ip and it gives out a 169 number that means the internet is down or there is something wrong with the net. i have even tried the lizard program and that didnt do anything either it kept the net just as it was. if i manually set up eveything in the nework preferences it says its connected and everything but it isnt. when i go to safari with auto or manual settings it will always say i am not connected to the internet. what am i to do to make the networking on the board work. its a Realtek RTL8110 chipset. the networking is the major thing thats stopping me from using the computer at all cause i cant do updates or use messengers or anything of the sort. if anyone knows anything let me know
14. Hi, I recently got a new laptop, Dell n5110, which packs an Intel Core i5 @2.4 GHz (Sandy Bridge, second generation), 4GB of RAM (gonna be upgraded soon to 8GB ) and an nVidia 525 w/ 1GB RAM. I already got WIndows 7 Ultimate on it and I would like to install the iAtkos Mountain Lion Developer Preview on it. The only issue is that I've also tried installing iAtkos L1 and L2 (had no luck, it tells me to start the magic trackpad or mouse, I also tried to plug in my USB mouse before booting, and the cursor moves, but the installation still tells me it doesn't detect anything) and S3V2 (doesn't work, on disc boot it gives me a kernel panic-"cpu(s) failing to respond to interrupts" or smth like that). I haven't yet tried iAtkos V7 but I don't intend to, because it's just useless, I think. Is there any chance that it could work if I tried booting the latest iAtkos with Mountain Lion? I really have no ideas left... I may try installing Lion with an ###### and a burned DVD, but I have to find all the kexts and everything..
15. So I installed Mountain Lion using iatkos ml2 and a few of the options in there, by the way just so everyone knows I am good at IT I'm just a noob when it comes to stuff like this... But I have to boot with "Graphics enabler=no" and I have to physically remove my graphics card which is not ideal "EVGA GTX 660 2GB SC" if i don't remove it I simply get this error (NVENABLER: PROBE:ROM SHADOW ENABLE Sometimes I get to this line "sound assertion in iohdacodecdevice at line 161" and then it boots other time it hangs almost randomly and I have to reboot Also I used to get this error alot "iobluetooth start completed" The motherboard I'm using is also presenting issues (MSI H87-G43) Whilst integrated graphics work using the graphicsenabler=no command and using a little ##### setting I can get it to run in 1920x1080x32 resolution this is post installation of course but I can't get the onboard sound to work which I believe is realtek (when no headphones are plugged in my computer seems to think there is no sound card installed (in windows 7/8) also can anyone help me as to why my USB wireless adapter isn't working... http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/315109356/802_11n_EDUP_150Mbps_1T1R_USB.html Either way once installed the only thing I have working is integrated graphics running at 1080x768 which is really grainy in places which is to be expected but my 8gb ram is detected. In short: Can anyone help me fix the onboard sound for my H87-G43 MSI motherboard? How can I get my EVGA GTX 660 2GB SC to work with Hackintosh Why isn't my USB WIFI Adaptor not working as in not being detected at all (Wi-Fi greyed out even after unplugging and replugging) What do the errors that I used to get and still do mean? And finally can anyone recommend a good post installation program for me? I can perform a series of tests and I shall be on skype for the next 24 hours my skype is "bluetoothgeorge123" feel free to add me and would love to talk to someone about this as I desperatley need a mac for my college and I can't afford it hence why I've gone this method. Below are my system specs Intel Core i5 4440 8GB DDR3 Vengeance RAM (CORSAIR) NvidiaGTX 660 (EVGA) Super Clocked 1TB SeaGate Barracuda HDD MSI h87 G43 MotherBoard ANY AND ALL Help appreciated. Thank you in advance to everyone. I have wiped back to my original Mac install iatkos and booted with graphics enabler=no and -v flags so I'm back to square one with no extra plugins i.e. ##### or pandora so please feel free to give help asap as I am ready to perform any changes or add ons to get my mac to work!
