blackosx
Thanks for confirming all is okay at your end micky. I now need to identify what's going wrong for mnfesq. OK, I deleted the folder in application support for Clover Theme Manager and restarted (using version .73). It still didn't work. I also tried to mount an EFI partition on my USB installer that has Clover installed on it. I couldn't get that partition to load either. Okay. Thanks for trying that. I'm going to make a test version for you. Have you time to run a test file in the next 10 minutes?

blackosx
Really? Not here. So just to double check can you open /tmp and make sure there is no CloverThemeManager dir in there. blackosx
okay. thanks. Let me check it and I'll post another test shortly. Do you still see the same as your screenshot in post no. 7?
mnfesq
Yes, just the scrolling lines across the top bar. The rest in greyed out.
blackosx
I get the exact same log as you when deleting my prefs and app support dir. I'm now thinking on the javascript side. This version will display some javascript alert boxes once the app switches to the main theme screen. You should see 5, displayed one after the other. 1 - Received: UpdateAvailThemes 2 - actOnUpdates(): themeList= 3 - actOnUpdates(): calling enableInterface() 4 - enableInterface(): Enter 5 - enableInterface(): Leaving Can you tell me if you see those? mnfesq
Yes, I saw those 5 pop-ups right after the app loaded. Still couldn't get the EFI partition to load. Need the log?
blackosx
Nah. The log won't help here. So just so I understand. After the five pop-ups the app still sat there with the grey overlay screen and scrolling top bar?
mnfesq
Not quite. The app is fine and functional (limited) until I try to select my Clover Themes location. When I select my EFI partition, I get the scrolling lines in the top bar and the partition never loads and the rest of the app remains greyed out. blackosx
Ah. Okay. That gives me something to go on. Let me put together another test version.
mnfesq
BTW, the app correctly identifies the location and UUID of the EFI partition/Clover Themes location.
blackosx
Here's test3 Thanks for staying with me on this. The app will load. You will see 4 pop-ups. Once you select a volume path you will see 2 further pop-ups, the page will dim and the scroll bar will appear before seeing 4 further pop-ups when then the interface should re-enable. I will need to the log file again for this one. EDIT: ^^ Thanks for the info EDIT2: I've got to dash out but I'll catch up in a bit. EDIT3: Attachment removed
mnfesq
OK, I got all of the pop-ups until I selected the EFI partition. After that, the 4 last pop-ups never appeared and the interface never re-enabled. It stays stuck at the scrolling lines at the top bar and the rest of the app is greyed out. blackosx
When the app is running and it's stuck on the dimmed screen with the scroll bar at the top, can you open /tmp/CloverThemeManager/jsToBash in a text editor and see if there are any javascript errors? EDIT: You may also check for errors in Console.app -> All messages. Search for CloverThemeManager to help filter it.

I will try to figure out what I can do to uninstall it report back. It's not really necessary to have that app anymore now that most apps and windows can be viewed in full-screen. EDIT: Yep, that was it. I removed the Maximizer.bundle from Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/ and it loads fine right now. Given the limited utility of this app with Yosemite, I will cease using it. Micky1979
If the app can go in full screen mode... perhaps there is a limitation if the monitor is not primary, but secondary (case if the user monitor is connected via HDMI..)
