good for avira, i like so much in windows, ever in my installs.

Since the Java malware exploit, I have been using avast! I use it in Windows as well and it is my favourite.

One of the main reasons I ditched Windows for Mac because I don't want any anti virus in my system....

I heard a few weeks ago that there was some sort of virus out for a Mac. Only one, but I'm not sure if that was fact or fiction. lol. XD

its fact.. called flashback.. and 2 yrs ago nother one that was in iLife torrents.. mac is not virus proof.. but less likely (for now)

It was a fact. Macs can get viruses. It's just that the virus writers are targeting Windows because there are more computers using Windows. But now that Macs/OS X are getting more popular, it's just a matter of time before more viruses show up. No operating system is 100% secure.
