I have a 865GV(on a ASUS P4P800-MX) and I've downloaded and installed the files but when booting normally I get the big blocky graphics problem.  Is there a solution to this?

Vendor: Intel (0x8086)
  Device ID: 0x2572

I don't think this works with 10.4.6. I can't get the .kext to load. 10.4.6 has been nothing but trouble so far, I think I'll be reinstalling .5 this weekend   Anyone else had any experience using this in 10.4.6??

it will not work on newer version than 10.4.1
superclass changed, any intel extrem under 900 can have QE...

Hi Kaiwei, I also have a 700m but could make the graphics work (1280x800). What version of Mac OS are you running? Mine is 10.4.6. Would highly appreciate your reply.

i have got another notebook, that have p4m 1.8 and 845gl
i try to install xxx10.4.11 and iatkos 1.0, both work great
yet just like most of the same user, no opengl and qe.
will anyone know how make 845gl work agin?

I am wondering this as well. I have 10.4.10 and i understand that this is not a solution for that. But I have a 845gl and I was wondering if there IS a solution for it? I cannot seem to get dvd playback to work because its saying i dont have a proper video device

Hi, it would be fun if someone could procure us the drivers for the 8xx series of video card, if anyone has an idea, i google to see if i could find some, and google is a dead end

the driver is invalid, it wont work anymore in higher than 10.4.5, someone told me.
is anyone could make it activated again? my graphic card is i845 with VEN:8086 and DEV:2562. i appreciate if someone could help me.

guys, to get it working follow the next steps:

go here

download the files

and ONLY MODIFY AppleIntelIntegratedGraphics.kext by putting your device id (mine is 2562) in Info.plist
then install all the intel 830 kexts with your modified kext , install them with terminal, Restart and enter the system normally.
