its not like the UI is gonna change until later to final builds. Leopard started out looking like tiger with a few new apps such as spaces, time machine, and so on.

I'm guessing not a lot since the demand for Snow Leopard isn't as high as for Leopard, since there aren't many end-user features, only architectural improvements.

Which means that it's mostly software developers that will be downloading this... The lack of compelling end-user features means there's not much demand for the few that would share *too* share it.

If you really want a fake "About this Mac", I'm sure I can whip one up in GIMP real quick. :(

You speak about Finder speed enhancement? Or are there new features?

I think that it would not be difficult with an online download to insert a custom watermark into a DMG....As for the WWDC edition, on hard-media, I think it would have been more difficult.

How difficult is it to locate, and or alter/remove a watermark? Any screenshots of the watermark?

it depends on how it is watermarked…

anyone remember if apple did ever watermark a developer download? i don't think so, this would be the first time.

Only the DMG is watermarked, not the contents. Simply repackage it, done deal.

anyone know if there is a share going around by an alias? I noticed that there was a WWDC going around with an alias simillar to "new big cat." I wonder if there is a share with a not-so-easy-to-identify share name?

imageboot is actually in leopard itself, with the only real change in Snow Leo being r/w dmg, and perhaps some gui to manage it..

I think the idea of IMAGEBOOT is that you will be able to use the IMAGES (DMG), when to my knowledge, could not be done before. Yes, leopard had a BOOT MANAGER...

If there is/was some way to boot from an image in Leopard, please share details.
