aspcartman
I didn't get why my post was removed (oO). I have same device id, rom and devision id as on screenshot on the first topic. (one card). I used now a EFI manual for 9800 here http://aquamac.proboards.com/index.cgi?boa...&thread=509 No injectors. I got my resolution, but still no QE (
larillion
MUST READ WHEN USING GFI STRINGS AND CHAMELEON BOOT LOADER I have a fully vanilla install of 10.5.7 but I could not get the QE/CI working for any card. I tried every video card I could get my hands on and after going through 6 different ones, nothing worked. I was making GFI strings for all and it seemed nothing changed. And it diddn't because I was changing the wrong com.apple.boot.plist 15 hours of trying, I finally figured it out. By default OSX86 tools uses the wrong com.apple.boot.plist If you use the Chameleon Boot loader. You have to make the changes to the com.apple.boot.plist in the /Extras folder. Once I did that, success!!!! Now I have the QE/CI enabled for GTX260 and now everything is working great!!!

jonesjunior3
Hi All I have a gigabyte nvidia geforce 9600gt Ive used the installer and added the efi string to com.apple.Boot.plist. The system boots up only when i move the mouse duting the darwin count down or i it will reboot at loading HFS+ files. Once booted i have both monitors working but with no qe/ci , and my mouse is inverted and randomly moving around. If i remove the efi string, mouse works fine, but gfx card not loading properly. Any suggestions on how to fix: a) the issue of having to move the mouse while booting the mouse being inverted and jumping all over the place c) the no qe/ci problem I am running and amd 4800 with ipc updated to 10.5.8 with anv kernel 9.8 Please help, Thanks Jones

Hagar
This installer is obsolete as of 10.5.6, and should not be used on any version newer than 10.5.5. There are also far better solutions available now, hence closed (again)
