Where can i see my device id ?

i have a MSI RX3850-T2D256E-OC

Hello,

So, you click on the fantastic apple (Top left ;) ) ... then, click on "About this Mac".. And, on "More info".. and finally, click on Graphics/Display ... You will see your device ID.

You're welcome.

:D

Can someone please direct me to a source that solves the black and white squares problem? I have the ATi Radeon HD 3650 0x9598 (not sure if it is the mobility or not. The device ID tells me it is the HD 3650, but lspci tells me it is the mobility.)

Use this HD3650 fixed (PCIe - not mobility)

Step 1: Safe Mode login (-x)

Clear all driver from

System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntel*

System/Library/Extensions/ATI*

System/Library/Extensions/NVD*

and

Delete file: System/Libraty/Extensions.mkext

When you delete all file in step 1, you can't login normal.

Step 2: Install driver HD3650 fix with Safe Mode. Restart. Hope work full. :)

If can't login in normal mode. Please install driver mobo again. :)

Ex: My HD3650 (sapphire) work now! DVI output with Dell 2407wfp 1920x1200p good.

Thanks! I'll have to try later tonight after work. Good to know someone else had this problem.

OMG! Thank you soo much! I think I had some old kexts in there or something, but it worked! I have to use my DVI to VGA connector, but a small price to pay. Once again, thanks!

lastExile you mean "iCamp" 8D

iPC works like a charm, for all you sata2 guys the cure to the boot1 error is: to use easyBCD2.0 beta !!! (assuming you have Vista/Win7 loader) Incorporated EFI loader solves the error.

cheers:)

Hi! First I want to really thank you. There were some minor visual issues with my ATI 3850 HD, and I couldn't play CoD 4. Now it works flawlessly. But since I installed these drivers, whenever I try to mount a disk image the system freezes and it shows a gray screen telling me to hold down the power button for a few seconds. I know that this issue with disk images is common among OSX86 users but what excatly causes that and what does it have to do with graphics card drivers?

By the way I am using vanilla kernel with a gigabyte mainbord, intel chipset, no ide drivers, 3 SATA and 1 USB driver. I have a DualCopre Intel. I was able to mount disk images with the vanilla kernel before I installed ATI Drivers. And I don't want to go back to my old drivers because CoD 4 is a very good FPS.

Thanks in advance.

I solved the problem. Turns out that it had nothing to do with the drivers. My kernel version is 10.5.6 but seatbelt.kext was 10.5.5. I installed seatbelt 10.5.6 and the problem was solved. But funny part is there were no problems mounting dmgs before i installed these drivers.

Thanks again for the drivers.
