A little earlier than expected, Apple released their 1.1.2 updates for their iPod Touch and iPhone. The update is confirmed to have deleted all 3rd party applications on the phone, no word yet on bricking unlocked phones. There is one notable difference, beside the international features for the UK release tomorrow - a battery symbol in iTunes next to the iPhone.
Right now, all iPhones and iPod Touches, when checked in iTunes, say there are no updates available. You can download the iPhone Update and the iPod Touch Update here.
