Hi everybody,

i´m gonna tell you my experience, i´ve bougth a new computer and while it comes i´m trying to install iatkos v4 in a friend hp pavillion laptop,

i allready have the AHCI error, and after trying this sata driver or intel driver or everything i made it start up and pass de grey apple logo screen by entering in the bios and switching off a setting that said something like 'sata comprobation', after that it has shown the wellcome video and starting with configuration, but in the second screen where ask you about export users from other machines it just make the wheel spin and start it up itself,

anybody has happens something similar?

When you talk about install the vanilla kernel, wich is that option

Cheers matesss!1

Where do I find the release mentioned in this thread? I own a "green deamon" account but there is no file available. {censored}, I even own a original copy of leopard.

I would appreciate it if someone could give me a hint, thanks.

Hi guys, Im really sorry if I annoy you with this, but Im very slow when it comes to the technical side of computers, basically Id like the mac osx on my acer travelmate 5320. I was told to read through this thread, have done and saw someone else has successfully done it with the same laptop. Anyway, I was basically wondering if there would be any side effects to doing this sort of thing? Ive read stories about touchpads and keyboards not working, if this does happen is it easy to reverse? Even if it means uninstalling the mac osx would I be able to work my laptop again?

Thanks if you take the trouble to help me out, God knows I need it.

acidulantes -

the 'hardware not working' generally means drivers for leopard haven't been loaded or, in some cases, been developed. it is highly unlikely that you'll fry your computer. i've gone back and forth about 10 times over the last year.

try it, you'll like it.

Finally, I am able to installed successfully on Dell D620. My next stupid question is? is it ok to use iATKOS as iPhone deployment environment to Apple Store and be part of Developer program connection (the one that pay $99 annually).

iPhone deployment to Apple Store require the use of provisioning profile certificate that need to be installed on the system. I think iATKOS will failed to install provisioning profile.

What do you guys thin? or has any one of you succesffully deployed to Apple Store using iATKOS?

Thank you in advance
