martin_nv
Hi, does anyone know of a way to get the forward/back buttons on a Logitech MX400 USB mouse? I'm using the Kalyway 10.5.1 install and the 10.5.2 Kalyway Combo Update. Thanks. Affinity
On my Mac Pro I use USB Overdrive to get the buttons to function on my MX518. Not sure if this helps you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99702-mouse-backforward-buttons-not-working/#findComment-711727 Share on other sites
ntsmkfob
You can download OSX drivers for Logitech mice/keyboards from their website. martin_nv
Thanks everyone, driver download from Logitech site did the job. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99702-mouse-backforward-buttons-not-working/#findComment-712670 Share on other sites
ToroLoco
I have the MX518, I have searched the Logitech site but I couldn't find drivers for Leopard or MAC in general. Where have you found drivers? Also this USBoverdrive will enable the features of MX518? LioNEXT
Give SteerMouse a look as well if that fits your needs. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99702-mouse-backforward-buttons-not-working/#findComment-719806 Share on other sites
BSODit
Yes I'd recommend SteerMouse over the drivers or USB Overdrive as well. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99702-mouse-backforward-buttons-not-working/#findComment-720063 Share on other sites
martin_nv
After a few days I noticed my computer was "jerky" and not responding well. I found out it was the Logitech USB drivers causing the problem. I uninstalled and then installed Steermouse, so far so good.
