Maybe when the next revision of the Mac Pro comes out, the previous revision will drop in price enough for me to actually be able to AFFORD it. EDIT: Heeeeyyyyy... wait a second. databaze Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 Im 5 minutes away from buying the same one, but i will up the ram and graphics on my own. Now my question is, can i up the CPU on my own of the board will not take the 3.0 quad? i did try to build it on my own just part by part and it came up to about a little less than 2000 against 2600 i would pay final for it. I think i will just get it and get it over with, let me know how you like it, i will be using it for music mostly and some graphics. Now all you need is four graphics cards in it and another 14 gig of ram and your sorted for the next few months til they bring the new ones out and OSX supports 9000 series nvidias.
