aylamrin
Well, I was eating something with my right hand, and since by no means I don't consider myself truly ambidextrous , I tried to open Mail using my left hand and hence was fumbling with the mouse which again was on the right hand side of the keyboard. The result was this...(please see attachment) (between the Mail & Safari icons) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93131-strange-dock-error/ Share on other sites
Danyel
That's a cool screenshot. Does Leopard have a way of putting 'spacers' betwen the icons? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93131-strange-dock-error/#findComment-664240 Share on other sites
(MoC)
Yeah. Look for some tutorials or something called DockDoctor. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93131-strange-dock-error/#findComment-664344 Share on other sites
U.C.
OnyX can also put similar spacers between Icons in the Leopard/Tiger Dock. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93131-strange-dock-error/#findComment-664387 Share on other sites
rob356
You either, 1. Photoshopped it, b.c. in opened in PS 2. Used the Terminal trick to add a spacer, I don't remember it, just look it up on macosxhints.com Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93131-strange-dock-error/#findComment-666644 Share on other sites
Quackit
I've had this happen before, but I can't remember if it was Tiger or Leopard. It's quite funny when things go awry like that in OS X. @rob356 - Why do you automatically assume he's trying to 'fake' something like that? That's very close-minded. Things do exist outside of your world Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93131-strange-dock-error/#findComment-666750 Share on other sites

You obviated the need to reply from my side, but then again just a few points... rob356 why don't you Photoshop or use whatever tools at your disposal and produce the same... Why would I need to do that? There are so many other things between 4000 -8000 that can be photoshopped... rob356
I didn't say it was a fake, I said it could be a fake. But it would be easier to use terminal, or however it happened. I never said that it had to be fake. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93131-strange-dock-error/#findComment-667066 Share on other sites

Ongeloof
There are a few apps available to do stuff like that. Xmod for leopard is great. Think Mark Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93131-strange-dock-error/#findComment-667766 Share on other sites
