When i try the iKATOS dvd, my pc freezes at the apple loading screen. I tried the two dvds in vmware, parallels, and vpc, with no luck. May you please help?

Wow, it's been a while. This probably is a late reply for you and I doubt it will help, but I'm honestly not sure. I am now running Windows (hopes lightning doesn't strike) and I'm going to switch back VERY soon. I'd try things like cpus=1, -x, -v, -vanilla. That's what I can list off of the top of my head right now.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Okay... I'm re-posting because of problems I've been getting recently. Just a month or two ago I installed Leopard Kalyway 10.5.2. It worked "fair". My internet would go out every once in a while, and it would randomly freeze up. Now my internet doesn't work at ALL, and I tried to replace some kexts... which resulted in disaster...

My computer boots up with a Kernel panic, and in the background it says stuff like "Unable to find driver... kernel panic... etc."

I've got the same problem... any solution for this?

Did you try burning the disk on a slow speed? I've hear that this might help.

Or is this after you've installed? If so then try -x, -v, -s, -legacy... see if you can even get into your system, or if you get the "Still Waiting for Root Device" error.
