As long as you don't start selling MacPro clones out of your garage I doubt you have much to worry about. :D

:( BTW did you hear about that Asian site that was selling "PowerMac G6"? They were basically hackintosh PowerMac clones loaded with OSx86 and some other pirated stuff. Read here for the specs:

They're not selling it anymore but I found some pics :D

They knock you out with a chloroform soaked black turtle neck, put you on a macrobiotic diet, and force you to listen to Bob Dylan until beg for a .22 to the back of the head.

That's what they did to me, hence my username, but in my new reincarnated body I still installed OS X on my PC again!

thanks for the info guys. it makes me feel a lot less... evil about this.

You want to feel less evil?

- Many people on this forum who used a Hackintosh ended up buying Macs anyway.

- Hackintosh is a great way to learn OS X, which is not a bad bullet point on a resume.

- Apple software for Windows is SCARY. I use Hackintosh for iTunes so I can move music to/from my iPod.

My recommendation: If you find yourself using OS X on a daily basis for daily things, put "Visit Apple Store" on a sticky note somewhere. If it's something you just break out once a while when you're sick of looking at Windows, go buy an iPod.

I don't feel evil because Apple doesn't make the machine I want to buy. I don't want an all it one, Mini doesn't have enough horsepower, and I refuse to dump $3000+ on a workstation that is more than I need. Until Apple comes out with something headless between the iMac and the MacPro they will not get my money for anything but lappies.
