VenturAce
Well, I usually don't have GF on St. Valentine's day.. But this time I have. But infortunately she's ill 2day so I had to meet her in the hospital in the morning, presented her flowers. I think even if you don't have your Valentine on this day this day is a holiday for everyone! Love is a feeling that makes our life happier and better! And it should be showed not only in relationships with your GF/BF.. Happy St. Valentine's day! Love is all around us! (MoC)
@ VenturAce: Yeah, you have a point! @Alessandro: Meh, same here. But that doesn't mean you can't have fun. Get out there and start messing around a little. I don't have a "Valentine" either but I was able to hang out with a girl a little bit today. Just don't feel bad!!!! Special-K
I don't celebrate a corporate holiday that's all about greed and profit. And it's not cause I don't have a Valentine. Even if I did, I still wouldn't celebrate. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87516-happy-valentines-day/#findComment-624797 Share on other sites
Alessandro17
I don't celebrate a corporate holiday that's all about greed and profit. Most holidays, including (or should I say "especially") Christmas have become all about profit. But my family (my parents, my aunt and my sister, when she is here) and I celebrate holidays as we have been doing for decades: a little family reunion around a dinner without luxury. With other words: it is entirely up to you if you want to totally ignore the commercial side of holidays. And I ignore the commercialism of all them, but when one is basically just commercialism, why even acknowledge it? macgirl
A co-worker friend put in the whiteboard this phrase: February 14 is the day of making love to a "friendship" It has more sence in spanish because we don't use "Valentine", a literal translate of how we say is is "February 14 day of love and friendship", with some gaming with the words says "almost" the same but with another meaning. for all Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87516-happy-valentines-day/#findComment-626613 Share on other sites
