Are their disks good enough for every day use.. i mean they are slow?

iirc the EEE PC has a 900mhz Celeron, so it's gonna be dog slow in Leopard. Plus you only get like a 2 or 4 gig memory stick as the hard drive, basically. But if all you do is Internet, Email, and Word type of stuff, you're probably fine. There are lots of mods you can do to them too - more memory, Bluetooth, etc.

Well, I know the EEE pc just doesn't work for me... I need it to do basic Mathematica computations, along with PDF reading (alot of that) and internet/email/word type stuff.

Anyone have any other ideas? (besides the MBA, which just doesn't have enough value for me)
