spott
I'm looking for a ultraportable hackintosh, the size screen doesn't matter too much, just the weight, sub 3.5 pounds, with battery. I would like full compatibility. Any ideas? -Andrew
iPirate
Isn't the Asus Eepc or whatever it's called Hackintoshable?

mifki
yup, the eepc is hackintoshable, although it sucks, i would normally say buy a mac, but considering the mba sucks balls, get a eepc, they are cheap as well, just be sure to add alot more ram

weaksauce12
Are their disks good enough for every day use.. i mean they are slow? iirc the EEE PC has a 900mhz Celeron, so it's gonna be dog slow in Leopard. Plus you only get like a 2 or 4 gig memory stick as the hard drive, basically. But if all you do is Internet, Email, and Word type of stuff, you're probably fine. There are lots of mods you can do to them too - more memory, Bluetooth, etc.

spott
Well, I know the EEE pc just doesn't work for me... I need it to do basic Mathematica computations, along with PDF reading (alot of that) and internet/email/word type stuff. Anyone have any other ideas? (besides the MBA, which just doesn't have enough value for me) -Andrew
Kane Adams
You can find one here.
Synaesthesia
How about the SONY VAIO VGN-TZ? According to the wiki, it works. If you browse around the 10.4.8 - 10.5.1 HCL's (portables), you can find some more small laptops! The Lenovo Thinkpad X60 might also work for you.
