Tripp-fan
I have an orange clam shell G3 iBook. I am wanting to know if it is capable of playing divx movies or xvid? I also want to know if it is capable of working on a windows xp network so it can get to the movies on my network? Does anyone know. Also it is running osx tiger. Colonel
Just to give you an idea, my 800MHz G3 can barely play DivX, XviD movies that are at an iPhone resolution, so I'm not sure a clamshell might be that great for playing vids... As for connecting to Windows networks, you should be able to using OS X's built in Samba compatibility. Urbz
lol, good luck playing anything on that machine. Its processor was created for a time when music that wasn't playing on a CD seemed new and exciting, let alone video! My late G3 iBook could only play DVDs... I liked that thing!
