Scheauwghn
I has no success with iAtkos v1.0 so I tried Kalyway 10.5.1 image instead. I got A LOT further, one problem... When it boots it freezes on the grey apple logo screen and the spinning wheel stops spinning. I booted i -v to see what the problem was and it didn't say there was a problem!!!! last last thing it say when it freezes is "Login Window Application started" and then it don't do anything else at all even when I let it sit for an hour, it doesn't go past that. What is this? Any way to solve it so I can actually boot in? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84435-grey-frozen-apple/ Share on other sites
AndreaGalileo
If its the first time booting mac os from hard drive, try -x (safe mode). Kernel panic maybe, but thats strange. TheTimster
how did you get two HDD's in your laptop?? anyways, i took a look and it seems that the included ntfs driver is causing the problem. what format is your windowspartition in? and is it a separate drive or separate partition? another question, do you NEED access to your ntfs drive?
