I think, if you want to see the packets, you need the system.log, you can get it by typing in the terminal cd /var/log tail -f system.log Then you'll see the log. dab77
hallo! finally I can give a hand! 751, with kext precompiled: could run kext without KP, but had KP after 5-7 minutes. p.s. I posted also ifconfig output. is it useful? system.tail.txt ifconfig.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84072-intel-wireless-2100-2200bg-2915bg-3945abg-4965agn/page/41/#findComment-713160 Share on other sites

jalavoui
mlazy, great log now it's easy to see what's wrong i'll put another version in svn iwi3945 rel 753 thanks for the logs - hope this one gets better tip: if the driver is running stable try to use networkselector to start a scan - see what happens in console-system.log. only scan it once. the options for on/off don't work tip2: if you have a wireless switch. when you press it the card can go off. pressing again will turn it on - first versions of iwi2200 uses this to turn the card on/off - this was before networkselector works this line: Apr 17 16:57:47 Sony kernel[0]: error iwl3945: APs don't scan. is because the driver fails to configure correctly as soon as i hack all this bugs the driver will work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84072-intel-wireless-2100-2200bg-2915bg-3945abg-4965agn/page/41/#findComment-713216 Share on other sites

FurmanSK
Alright I'm home, Jalavoui got a question for ya. When i compiled the new source in xcode for 2200 like does it create a .dmg file or do i have to create that? I see where it creates the .kext file so i know its working and it doesn't give me those permission errors anymore (thanks) so yeah let me know. Going to test it out see if its better. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84072-intel-wireless-2100-2200bg-2915bg-3945abg-4965agn/page/41/#findComment-713357 Share on other sites
