my opinion ?

I also have problems installing mac for 4 or 5 day's , but look atyou posts man , and look at heker's number of posts ... do you think in over 1400 posts he asked for help, or he offered help to people ?

I think he is one of the few on this forum that really know what he is talking... if you are unable to folow some simple tasks (as i suppose i am also) tha don't blame it on others ...

RESPECT !

or how Aly G say RESTECP ! :P

Seriously, why am I having all these weird-a-- problems?

Because you aren't smart (enough) to do it. Calm down, and take some deep breaths.

Now use your intelligence as well as some reading/research and a little patience. It's easy.

Nobody would be willing to help you, if you keep this attitude, seriously :P

Yeah whatever.

I was calm. I posted questions. Some people answered, but it didn't help. Its been a month straight i've been screwing around with this stuff.

So, basically, heres my problem(s) i'm having atm:

BLINKING CURSOR WHEN TRYING TO BOOT

Yeah whatever.

I suspect a hardware problem behind this. Do you have a free hard drive you could use to install OSX on without any other OSs? If you do, then you could try unplugging/disabling unnecessary hardware from your PC (either physically or via BIOS) and try again. There is also a small chance that the DVD media you are using is not working correctly. Have you tried buring your image on quality media at the slowest speed posible?

why did this guy get 30 posts of responses?

He didn't deserve it. He didn't state his problem in the topic or the description, and then blasted hecker for trying to help.

I'm all for helping newbies, as long as they are respectful and think for themselves.

The only thing this deserved was a 30 post flame-war-massacre

I did have an empty 120GB that I tried to install it one with my other hard drive unplugged (cable switched to master, jumpers, etc), yet it didn't work.

I burned the dvd at 4x on a 16x compatable DVD.

@socal swimmer: Before you know what you're talking about, look around at the other posts i've made first. I have stated my questions and problems quite a bit.

you are right, you did.

but you never have the right to blast someone who is helping you.

NEVER

lol look bud I have the right to do what I want when I want to whoever I want, it doesn't matter what country i'm in or anything. Got that? If you aren't even going to remotely help then go away.

Do you have a 10.4.x DVD you could use to rule out an error on the hard drive you're using?
