Numberzz
Our good old friend the Financial Times says that Apple and 20th Century Fox have reached an agreement to sell rental movies on the iTunes Store. The movies are expected to come in a sort of limited-playing window, that would only allow customers to watch these movies for a certain amount of time. Another important aspect is that, on Fox DVDs, people will be able to load them onto their computer and then import them onto your iPod, without use of software like HandBrake. A Nonny Moose
While we might not need HandBrake, they are still RENTALS and will expire. I don't want to rent a movie.
Numberzz
Not if you buy the DVD physically. I believe the rentals are digital downloads.
FUKKU
While we might not need HandBrake, they are still RENTALS and will expire. I don't want to rent a movie. 90% of everyone I know just goes to blockbuster or uses netflix, most people aren't that interested in owning every movie they've ever watched. And since you're on this site I wouldn't exactly peg you as the ideal itunes customer

Hi Numberzz, I was responding to the person above implying that nothing I have on here is legal. *edit* stupid English language Edited December 29, 2007 by A Nonny Moose
Mebster
Not that I intend to ever use iTunes but does anyone think there might be a way to remove the expiry date on the rentals?
Numberzz
It should be as simple as removing the DRM from songs.
