Chest12
What's the longest people have had there Unix based operating systems running for? I use Leopard i can't get past a few days as programs stop responding and the system just runs slowly but after a restart it speeds up again. Has people got any tips so that i can prolong my uptime and for the linux people what's the longest you have had your distro running for?? skeetre
I've had my fedora core 3 server up for 206 or 208 days.. I can't remember exactly, but it was just over 200. It went down because I updated it to fedora core 4 64 bit. I've got about 130-140 days several times. Hagar
My linux boxes generally stay rock-solid until I reboot them for some reason, such as adding hardware or trying a different distro, typically 3-6 months. Tiger I usually reboot every 2 weeks or so, Leopard... too soon to say, I'm still fiddling with it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/74942-uptimes/#findComment-533952 Share on other sites
