What do you think ? Sounds quite scaring...

Hm. my kernel (vanilla) connects to canada

Non-authoritative answer:

20.153.243.63.in-addr.arpa canonical name = 20.153.243.63.reverse-sovereign.shellfusion.net.

20.153.243.63.reverse-sovereign.shellfusion.net name = default-ip-teleglobe.shellfusion.net.

Hi,

kernel_task is what version 1.x of LS reports. Upgrading to version 2.x will give you a more specific report of the originating process.

Question: did you ever find out what those Russian servers were about? I had a similar problem when I fired up LS and it reported a whole bunch of connection attempts to Romania and elsewhere in Europe and US that looked extremely dodgy.
