Lactobacillus P
Check your system with the HCL and read the forum, search the forum using Google or PCWit's forum search. I doubt that one of the users will do all the compatibility checking for you, but perhaps you are lucky and a person with the same configuration has already done all the work and wants to share it with you. Headrush69
I just received that system today but with a 8800GTX. So far installs and boots fine and all 4 cores working. Geforce obviously no problem with NVinject. Bluetooth, Firewire, USB all seems fine right from install with ToH RC2 DVD. Just working on sound and ethernet. Pipkato
Hello, I'm considering the XPS 420 also. I like the idea of a pre-built machine. But I can't find any definitive info on the degree of compatibility with Leopard 10.5.1. Can anyone say where this machine stands in compatibility terms? I've checked the HCL and it's not listed. My alternative is to build something like the Intel Bad Axe2 project, with the same CPU and possibly the same graphics card. Any suggestions much appreciated. A Nonny Moose
A Mac mini is $599 US. Hardly the insane amount you're quoting in the initial FUD statement.

Headrush69
Did you guys get ethernet working with the XPS 420's No, that chip isn't supported. You'll need to pick up a PCI based one.
