Just noticed this and was wondering if anyone has it installed ?

It is the first SSE2 and SSE3 Intel x86 Single Layer DVD release online and looks okay so... BIG news !

Feedback please ;)

Also if you have questions or just something to say about this release,

post it here and hopefully some nice guy will reply

Plz make sure you add the Silicon Image 3232 drive to you next PPF fixes. It works on Leopard

* SiI 3132 32-bit universal Mac OS X 10.4.x BASE Driver 1.1.9 12/26/2006 154 KB Use this universal driver with Mac OS X 10.4.x or later on PowerMac G5, PowerBook G4, and MacBook Pro.

. . commonly used for eSATA expresscards/PCIe cards. Works a treat in OSX & I second any request to add this driver to this cleverly thought-out DVD.

Alright thanks, will be great for my PCIe GeForce 7600GT i suppose..

Who knows if something was removed, or why it fits on a single-layer dvd ?

Also, I assume there are build in patches in this installer.

Maybe someone can make/get a list or screenshot ?

Yep - Working here as well just great -- see sig for hardware details.

Only needed NV Inject (leo) and azalia patches for mine - used the ToH disk with the bootpatch.

other than that it works great.

It doesn't have the ' Alex ' voice in speech tho - does someone know how to get it off the retail disk and install it?

cheers,

One

Just to confirm, now i installed ToH in this TravelMate 2420 (on the definitive hard disk), using Grub working with WinXP, Ubuntu, Osx, OsX is great!, the installation was smooth, the device were recognized without problem, may be the only detail is the No Battery icon, its the only detail i found.

:):(:D :D

I love this!

@mordormx: what kind of wi-fi card does your notebook have. my installation of leopard doesn't recognize my atheros based wireless card in my hackintosh, that used to work in tiger. i installed leopard from a patched (BrasilMac) leopard and i am curios if ToH has some additional kexts...

Hi There,

I am trying to install ToH x86 on IBM ThingPad T43p.

I split HD installations wos good and after reboot i cannot get trough Welcome dialog.

I choose country (use defoult US), select keyboard, select "Do not transfer my information now"

an then it returns back on beginning - Welcome screen.

I need to create user account and start system, anybody knows what to do?

Shanny

None of the DVD image I downloaded worked for me :)

Using ext. CD drive to install.

Only leopard flat image works for me but I have booting problem.

First can't boot without DVD then now I don't know what I did can't boot with DVD in.

Hang at waiting for boot uuid something like that.

ToH and Brazil patched DVD won't even boot to install...

Anyone can enlighten me?

shanny i don't know what the problem is ..

and royston, have you tried the script to make leopard bootable ?

start from cd and open terminal, type:

cd /usr/misc/ 'press enter'

./script.sh VolumeName and press enter.

you should see the script doing stuff.

then maybe do it again to be sure,

then it should boot, or there is some bigger problem.

Where can I find the DVD?

Las week, I was happily downloading ToH's DVD when everything just stopped. CRIA had shutted down Demonoid... Now I have half a download done and haven't been able to find a new torrent or a place to download from... Where can I find ToH's DVD?

first reset your bios

disable any raid chip like micron etc.

then change to AHCI in your sata / hdd device config

you could (helped me) use ps2 mouse & keyboard to avoid any usb interrupts

f8 then -v -x (safe mode)

and post the output and further success

Hi you guys.

I've just installed ToH's Leo and the firts time I booted, I had a kernel panic. The second time, I left the installation DVD on the drive and it booted just fine. No worries...

Then, I tried to reboot and took the leo DVD off the drive.. and had a kernel panic...

Do I have to boot with the installation DVD on the drive every time I wanto to use Leo?

Also, the System profiler tells me only one core on my Asus core duo is active. Is there a solution?

Thanks!

Nevermind. Found the solution with the 10.5 Speedstep patch from netkas. working great.. but no native boot (yet  )
