I am having problems getting the 10.4.3 disc to boot up on my ACER Travelmate 2451WLMi

My problem is that when i try and boot the dvd it just restarts.

 

I have tried 10.4.7 also didnt boot.

 

I also tryed booting in VMware and still didnt boot it said something like kernel stack error.

 

Hope that helps.

Certain 10.4.3 releases had major issues in VMware 5.5x

If 10.4.7 did the same, you probably have incompatible hardware, none of your specs look exactly on level with compatibility we've seen so far.

ok well i got everything running right

 

Atheros 5005g - working

Realtek r139 - working

ati 200m at 1280 x 800 - working great

all usb - working

mousepad - working

keyboard - working

 

 

I only have one question do i need to have 128mb of memory shared with the video card or can i just use 64mb and still have the same preformance.
