Are we as consumers really going to be affected by this product immediately? I think not. And if not immediately how long? I think the SSD and iPhone should have topped out the list respectively. It would be most effective in restaurants, airports, the DMV, etc just because of it's ability to recognize everyday objects such as credit cards or that cell phone you want to buy. It could identify the type of food you are eating and then charge you appropriately. Surface is a cool idea, but renting a piece of PC!? I wonder if it voids your warranty if you try to install another OS and it gets bricked...
