The Microsoft Surface is really revolutionary but how many people are going to pay what it costs for it? Are we as consumers really going to be affected by this product immediately? I think not. And if not immediately how long? I think the SSD and iPhone should have topped out the list respectively.

I don't see this as a product for consumers. It would be most effective in restaurants, airports, the DMV, etc just because of it's ability to recognize everyday objects such as credit cards or that cell phone you want to buy. It could identify the type of food you are eating and then charge you appropriately.

I just can't believe the "Zonbu Zonbox" beat out the iPhone. :blowup: I'm starting to wonder if maybe they got the order reversed. Surface is a cool idea, but renting a piece of :) PC!? I wonder if it voids your warranty if you try to install another OS and it gets bricked...
