Well its that time of the year again, report cards! And as I will be pulling a 3.5 no sweat, that means I'm finally allotted a little money to blow. Getting a big pile of coke sounds good, but I'd rather spend that cabbage on something to replace my current lounging headphones, because everyone knows the wallmart special sonys suck once youve heard better.

So now I ask, does anyone know of any particularly good headphones for the money? I only have around 50 bucks (that can be stretched a tad  ) to spend, and I'd like to know if anyone has found anything pretty decent at that price.

man buy this > LINK

i have them for about 2 year.i payed for them 30euros now are they about 18,that is about 15 $.

they are semi-pro headphones.and if you want to use them on your ipod, you need 6.3 > 3.5 jack.

the only question is if you want to carry around so big headphones ...

Don't get that {censored}. Behriner sells {censored} as far as headphones (and lot's of other stuff) is concerned. Get a Sennheisser HD-25 if you care about sound. That's about 190 dollars and sounds quite nice. Got one myself since I use it for my homestudio work as well. It's very sturdy, never fails, light, blocks external noise and sound just too damn good!

Behringer headphones are cheap, sound cheap etc.

The last time I checked 30 Euros was not 15 American Dollars... ^_^

i would say same think if i was some fancy-rich guy , but since i`m not, behringer is the best solution for cheap money ...

@ResX do you need headphones for home listening or for ipod ?

as far as those Hd-25s go, i dont plan on spending 190 bucks...

And this is probably more for home listening than anything (using frontrow).

Those behringers look decent. Im not looking for extremely perfect sound, but something that sounds halfway decent for a few bucks is really what im looking for.

I like my Sennheiser CX-300s. They're a darn sight better than any other canalphones in the price range, seriously embarassing anything, for example, Sony make for less than about £100. They're actually re-badges of an older Sennheiser IEM model which is frequently found on the market for ten times the amount :)

Still, if you're not planning on using them 'on the move'. headphones make more sense, because you get a much more open soundstage.
