Coincidence? I think not :D

Everyone knows that those who use Macs have a higher intelligence curve, you do know that don't you? :P

Apple board member; former Democratic United States Vice President; Oscar winner; and now a Nobel Peace laureate, Al Gore is having a very good year it would seem. Congratulations :D

i know how to end global warming... choke the necks of all the morons that believe that we are the main cause... the reduction of CO2 by exhalation will solve both global warming and stupidity

Maybe the two are connected :o If we take all the idiots that don't think global warming exists, maybe we can use their small brains to fuel our lights...They may be a bit dimmer, but they sure are free. Bam, all the idiots in the world are useful again.

Just because you don't think Humans cause Global Warming doesn't make you an Idiot. I refuse to get involved with Global Warming because: A) 99% It's tied to a political agenda B ) The 'solutions' are so effing expensive

No but it certainly makes them ignorant.

The 'solutions' are so effing expensive

Buying florescent lightbulbs is expensive?

Turning off your computer or the TV when you’re not using it is expensive?

Keeping the tires on your car adequately inflated is expensive?

A little common sense goes a long way. Read. Learn. Participate.

Ok, I'll take that.

No, that's fine and practical. I was refering to Carbon Credits.

The 'solutions' are so effing expensive

And your problem with Carbon Credits is? If you have a better mechanism to limit CO2 emissions the world is waiting with a baited breath. Yes the solutions are expensive, sorry you will have to get of your fat, lazy arse, you might even have to loose your job. The collapse of global agriculture, starvation and displacement of billions of people scarcely compares to your inconvenience. Are you hoping mommy gives you a magic pill to make it all better, surely you can't be that dumb...

Damn I'm sick of cretins, maybe our race should just {censored} in our tent till we drop dead and do the world a favour....

I was refering to Carbon Credits.

Don't worry about that for now. Do whatever you can to help. It ALL adds up in its own way. Really.

As bad as global warming is it's going to get a lot worse because of an effect called 'global dimming'. We are not really seeing how much trouble the Earth is in but soon, and I mean VERY soon we will. PBS had a good program on about global dimming and it was very saddening. Politicians fight about the dumbest things not realizing that time is not a luxury that we have anymore.

Carbon is the problem. It is one of the most abundant elements in the universe. Only plants know how to convert it into oxygen efficiently, but we cut down over 4 billion trees each year. Not the brightest of things that we humans have been known to do

Damn I'm sick of cretins, maybe our race should just {censored} in our tent till we drop dead and do the world a favour....

Hey, f*ck you. A) That wasy very offensive to people with thyroid hormone deficiency B ) How am I a Cretin?

If you have a better mechanism to limit CO2 emissions the world is waiting with a baited breath.

There is no 'better solution', I never claimed to have one. All I did was say the solutions are 'effing expensive' and that I didn't want to get involved. I never said Carbon Credits were a bad solution.

I looked that up on Wikipedia. Pretty interesting how the dimming and warming occurs at the same time, making things even worse.

Politicians, ew.

Pretty interesting how the dimming and warming occurs at the same time, making things even worse.

Yeah they work with each other, and the global dimming kind of masks the effects of the global warming from us, but that won't last long and soon the global dimming will double the effects of the global warming  Some places are already seeing it through droughts. Drinking water is going to become a very big commodity soon.

Politicians, ew.

LOL :P There's a few good ones, but most of them are worthless. Lobbyist are a big part of the problem.
