apowerr
You've heard of 'hot pants' but never like this If this guy is smart he won't send Apple the iPod until AFTER he speaks with his lawyer Hopefully he'll get a nice chunky settlement, I wish I was lucky enough to have my iPod catch fire. Colonel Ingus
I don't know what I would do if my iPod caught on fire...It's always in my car. Hopefully pull over and try to put it out. We have a fire extinguisher in our trunk. Cost 15.00. Good investment. Could you imagine what would happen if a iPod caught on fire in the middle of the night while you were sleeping? djet
Umm guys, your iPod will probably only catch fire in a freak accident when your listening to music!!!!! Not when it's on your charger when you're sleeping or in your pocket not playing. Colonel Ingus
Not true. He wasn't listening to any music when his caught fire. It was just in his pocket. djet
That's sorta impossible for the iPod to just suddenly start overheating.....I mean I'm not that electronic savvy, but if his iPod was in his pocket and off, i Can't see how it would have just randomly turned on and started overheating. If so, then that's some weird stuff. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65527-ipod-sets-mans-pants-on-fire/#findComment-466162 Share on other sites
Colonel Ingus
Whether the unit is on or off makes no difference. The battery is still physically connected to the unit.
