Same, I was expecting more of a reaction but still....funny. BTW, Prawker, in your signature theres a typo. It says "OS X 10.4.5 (9A559)" but I'm quite sure that its supposed to be OS X 10.5 (9A559)

rofl, thanks, i never would have noticed that!

So, what's the point of doing this? To have a few laughs showing off the fruits of someone else's hard work?

This is exactly the kind of juvenile {censored} that's going to get this community taken down by lawsuits--all because a bunch of *children* can't help themselves from parading their little Dell machine around the Apple Store. Amazing...

Apple is watching this community closely. There will come a point when they will no longer tolerate us. Schoolboy pranks like this are the beginning of the end.

I can't believe I'm the only one here who doesn't think this is funny---AT ALL.

I can understand you point of view, but there are a few things I'd like to clarify. For starters, we recognize the hard work that has been put into developing OSX86, and its not like we took a free ride on the backs of everyone else while making the video for a few personal giggles. It may have been hard to see in the video, but we put in as much recognition as was reasonable. Watch the HD video to verify. We had a lengthy list of people we wanted to recognize such as Netkas, JaS, Uphuck, Tubgirl, Kalyway, and devilhood (for his awesome guide, that was on my first post). There's too many to list. That's one of the main reasons we made this video, we wanted to give something back to the community, and what better way than to post a video emulation of a previous prank? Might I add that one of the "perpetrators" in that particular "incident" was a mod?

I can see why you think that this is the beginning of the end, but if this video (which tells no-one how to install, patch, update, acquire ect. OSX86) is going to prompt Apple to file a suite against us, then God knows what they think of the wiki, all the guides on the forums, and about half of anything else in the forums.
