Are there any DX 10 enabled gfx boards that have support in 10.4.10?

It looks like a no go for the 8xxx series from Nvidia, but how about the 2xxx series from ATI?

On a side note, I have a 7300 pulled from a macpro that I can use in my system, so if I get a mobo and plugin a 8800gts and the 7300 gts, can I plug the monitor into the 7300 gts for os x and the 8800 for windows?

Thanks for the help!

What exactly is the big deal on the DX10 card?

"Valve's President Gabe Newell is calling Microsoft's choice to make DirectX 10 Vista-only a 'terrible mistake' that has harmed gaming. His company's latest hardware study shows the strategy has not moved gamers onto Vista. The result is that almost no one is using the newest version of DirectX, and companies are shying away from creating new input devices that support it. Nine months after release, after Christmas, after graduation, and with school mostly back in session, still only 8% of gamers are using it."

he's not saying dx10 isn't good, he's stating the decision to make it exclusive on vista is bad. that being said, i feel like dropping around $300 on a graphics card, and I'd like it to be dx10 compatible so i can play bioshock. granted, the difference between dx9 and 10 in bioshock is minimal, but i'd still like to be able to play some of the games coming out in the near future that support dx10.

all the same, i think the question is valid. also, anybody with experience running two graphics cards in a hackintosh i'd love to hear any input you may have.

as always, thanks...
