Specs are athlon 64 x2, 80 gb sata hd, 1 gb ram, dvd-r. In the setup, I get to the partition screen but I cannot see any place to install it to. I don't think it is detecting my sata hard drive. I'm able to calibrate and output a profile using Spyder2 calibration tool. Happens that none of available profiles works. Changing profiles as no visual changes in display. It is useless for photographic editing. Using ATIRadeon9700 and koverge patch I can get CI & QE working, even Q2E with some occasional display refreshment square loses. Can someone help me suggesting what to change or look for? Seems to be something related with the way Graphics establish connection with Laptop display. Dids Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Hmm, I'm trying to get this to work, but so far I've been through kernel panics, continous restarts (looping) and now I I get stuck at the grey apple logo. Running in verbose mode didn't help either, since it seems to stop after succesfully initializing/finding the firewire. I'm running on a laptop, and the specs are something along the lines of this: CPU: Amd Turion (~1.8ghz) RAM: 1gb ddr HDD: Some ata hdd, works fine GFX: Ati Mobility Radeon X700 (PCI-E, 128mb) Also, I'm trying to install only the base package. Could that be the problem? Just noticed after reinstalling that it now gets past the firewire part and stops at "BSD root: disk0s1, major 14, minor 1. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
