Metropolis Posted June 13, 2007 Share Posted June 13, 2007 Let's give him a break, He might really be landing and we wouldn't want to {censored} him off so he doesn't share with us. nemo90, to make a dmg of your disk open disk utility and click on the main disc, it would say something obscure... not Mac OS X Install disc. Press the create new image button and then choose CD/DVD Master. once it's done you won't see things in the image that you would expect but they are there, believe me. Next upload the dmg as is OR change it's extension to .iso (they really are the same) and then upload. Changing to .iso just makes it more friendly for people who may be downloading/burning from a PC. Good luck and thanks for wanting to help so much. Funny, that other fellow, marxy or what have you, said you could disable menu bar transparency. Sorry, not marxy, the other guy at macrumors, inkhead or something. But then he also spoke about the Vista system freeze thing, which has since been removed from the apple site, so perhaps he was bullcrapping. People need invites, its private, so it won't move as fast, It should be put on a more widly used site like the Bay. When the first leopard beta came out, it was dog slow to download until it was put on the bay and more people could start moving around the file.
