And 10.4.8 is the easyiest to install and is very stable. So u should go with the 10.4.8 Dvd, called "JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4. 8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.S SE3.PPF.1.Defiant. diskutil.biker880. ich7-R.patch.Integ rated". Headrush69 Posted June 12, 2007 Share Posted June 12, 2007 Try them both and decide for yourself The reason I suggested Tubgirl is he can get 10.4.9 straight from install. (Some people have had troubles upgrading from 10.4.8 on AMD) Your 10.4.8 releases always worked on both my AMD systems but uphuck 10.4.9 wasn't so successful. :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
