This makes interesting reading, mind you: Jedi Census Phenomenon Church of the Flying Spagetti Monster It's find it interesting as both these religions were set up to annoy other religous groups or the government. socal swimmer
i am athiest. my personal thoughts: 1) extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. 2) to claim an all-powerful, unseen being is very extraordinary. 3) i know that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, but at some point, claims must be proven before they can be rationally accepted (back to # 1) and the church of the flying spaghetti monster sums up #3 perfectly. not to spark a massive religous argument or anything.
