I have tried to use Pages but have trouble moving the text frames to where I want them. What's that about "You can't move the text frames"? Never have a problem also my work goes to print so never a doubt with these programs. There's a version of Scribus for mac, but not (yet) UB unfortunately... development is quite slow on this. Here's a page with a few hints for the mac version. If you can afford it (or even not ), Vas is right about Quark and InDesign, these are the real pro apps.
