Tearabite
i noticied while doing a DVD install of 8F1099, somthing in the EULA (yeah, i was half-paying attention to it) that the dev version of x86 is Beta (duh) and "Time Limited" .. does this mean it will stop working at some point? If so, does anyone know when? and.. how long until Maxxus patches-out the time-limit?? ? You're right, I missed that part: IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS “BETA”, PRE-RELEASE, TIME-LIMITED SOFTWARE MEANT FOR EVALUATION AND DEVELOPMENT PURPOSES ONLY. I turned off internet time synchronizing, and set the date in my bios to 2020. It boots fine. wiebeest
I think that is all about the fact that the developpers x86 Macs are rented (@ $999) for the dureation of a year and should then be returned to Apple...
