Maybe you could take a bite out of a real apple, take a picture of it (in the same angle as the original green one), and paste (photoshop) the bite section on top. To MacIntelrator: I like the avatar. I find it very attracting. You've done it with 3D Studio Max, right? If I were in your shoes, I would try to use a more realistic skin for the apple (and the bite). Otherwise, I find it very well done.
