steve22
Hi! How come my Hackintosh works faster than the normal Mac OS X on a C2D iMac? Hackintosh: 2.8gHZ Celeron 1GB RAM Intel 915 video card SATA hard drive Macintosh: 2.0gHZ Core 2 Duo (4MB Cache) 2GB RAM ATI x1600 video card SATA2 hard drive ~Matt
Dr. Hurt
What makes you say that? The C2D is supposed to smoke your celeron!!!
Ictinike
xD Maybe your Mac is bloated to {censored}?
sarahbau
Do you have any benchmarks to show this? The C2D should be way faster.
EFI
There is something seriously wrong with your iMac in that case. The C2D should be able to smoke the celeron in a flash. Make sure its not a hardware related issue, becuase it looks like it if its being slower than your hackintosh.

steve22
My benchmark on my Hackintosh is 68 (xBench) on my iMac its 128. I am running 10.4.9. Is there anything I can do to improve the performance?
Guest Ramm
So what is your problem? The higher, the better, right? Your iMac is performing correctly according to those results.

Higher is better. Your iMac is almost twice as fast as your Celeron.
kernalzero
is this a perceived performance difference because your benchmarks don't reflect what your are saying and the hardware should be far better in your imac?
