Haha, of all posts to break my month or so long of not posting, I found this one rather funny and decided to share. The Laughs section would have worked, but this one works too.

After realizing the truth, it does make sense. Should OS X really be what's running something like that? I'm curious as to what you guys think.

Anyway, I think it'd be better running Linux, not Windows (or OS X). Cheaper, and less prone to crashes and such.

Windows is very standard for most kiosk and POS systems. Reason? It'll work off the shelf with cheap hardware and everyone knows how to use it. Say what you will about Linux, it just isn't mainstream enough from a commercial standpoint to be used in these applications. And Mac OS X would be a disaster.
