I already have 10.4.1 install on my laptop its a sse2. its a gateway 450rog

 

I patched the dvd iso as described on maxxuss, i burned it then i booted with the dvd, i picked mach_kernel.nonx, but no matter what i pick the grey apple screen will show up and the laptap then reboots. anyone know what is up?

There is a new patch that works for native installs.

Sorry, but it still won't work with your machine. PAE is broken in your 400mhz FSB Pentium M processor.

I have an i915 motherboard and a P4 3.0 sk775 cpu, but i have the same problem, with macosx_10.4.3_8f1111_for_dtk_userdvd.dmg (downloaded from piratesbay)

Do i have to patch it?

 

Yes. Maxxuss is working on a new patch for 8f1111. It will be out shortly. Check his site for latest updates (hint: google maxxuss)
